MeiVac brings more than 30 years of experience in the design, manufacture and support of vacuum deposition systems and components used in high technology, process intensive production applications. Today, MeiVac is best known for its 2460 & 2480 family of alumina deposition tools that are used extensively in the manufacture of Thin Film Heads used in Hard Disk Drives.

Additionally, MeiVac offers a Components product line, the most significant of which are throttle valves, sputter sources, sputter source power supplies and substrate heaters that are used in applications ranging from R&D to production, in a wide array of markets such as defense, industrial, electronic, etc.

MeiVac's components product line was bolstered by our Spring 2006 acquisition of US, Incorporated’s Sputter Source business unit. Built around its patented family of MAK Gun sources, these sources have long been the product of choice for a wide array of sputtering applications

Components
Vari-Q Ambient temperature throttle valves ranging from 100 mm to 35 inches that provide high-resolution process pressure control for a wide variety of applications.

Sputter sources, substrate heaters and power supplies from its recently acquired US Division significantly increase MeiVac’s ability offerings to vacuum processing markets.
